I am targeting the keyword 1031 and I can't get it in _meta_ no matter how many times its mentioned on page. I tried adding it to the sticky list and remove the 0 1 and 3 from the bad characters list - no dice. Any ideas?
If its not supported, is there a place I can hard code it? It will never change for this site.
I believe it doesn't include numbers, because for most sites they're not an important part of the content. You could use a text browser or another online tool to crawl your site yourself and look at what content it finds; or you could use a tool like Analytics that lets you look at what search keywords people are reaching your site through, and you'll probably see some numbers in there.

I don't think they support numbers as keywords . Think about the content of your website and according to that choose your keywords. Note any keywords you think people are more likely to use for finding the information you have.
There is nothing wrong in using numbers as keywords but still using numbers as keyword won't effect that much as normal words can do. Use other keywords which suits your site, this will soon rank up your page.
Numbers can be used as keywords, but it won't be that much useful as words . It's better to choose the words as keywords that are relevant to your site , as through this there are more chances of getting traffic as well as backlinks.
Yes, I am 100% agree with your statement about it. Words are best way to choose in keywords. And it must have to relevant in your site and this is a best way to get more traffic.
