Hi there,

1.I am trying to create a vertical menu of my sub-category pages ie; when I am in the Home page,say, I want a vertical menu which shows the sub-categories of the Home page.(I do not want a drop down at the top of page for each menu item.) I tried to do this by creating a new menu with all the sub-categories and tried to assign a style for it. It looks good.(but this is not the right way..I am sure)

2.But my problem is when I try to access the sub-category page, it is no more a sub-category page(news_default_subcategory) but a main category page. ( the main schema template)

3.Also, i tried to create a template with the name of the sub-category and map it to Home category. but it will not allow me to create a template.
